Day 1:
Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m) & Transfer to the Hotel
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative of Nona Getaways will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you’ll have time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, a short briefing will be conducted to discuss the trek, answer any last-minute questions, and prepare you for the upcoming adventure. You may explore the bustling streets of Thamel, enjoy welcome dinner local cuisine, and simply relax at your hotel to gear up for the trek ahead.

Day 2:
Drive to Pokhara (820m) & Transfer to Hotel
we leave the capital city behind and travel to Pokhara, Nepal’s beautiful lakeside city. You can enjoy a scenic 6–7-hour drive through lush valleys and river gorges. Once in Pokhara, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, ideally located near Phewa Lake. The rest of the time is free to explore the town, enjoy the lake views, or prepare for your trek starting the next day.

Day 3:
Drive to Kande & Trek to Pitam Deurali (2,100m)
We begin the trek by driving from Pokhara to Kande (1.5 hrs). From here, the trail gradually ascends through terraced fields and forested slopes to reach Australian Camp and continues to Pothana. After checking permits at the ACAP checkpoint, we ascend through peaceful forest trails to Pitam Deurali. This small settlement offers a tranquil setting with sweeping views of the Annapurna South and Mardi Himal.

Day 4:
Trek from Pitam Deurali to Forest Camp (2,500m)
Leaving Deurali behind, we enter dense, quiet forest trails rich with rhododendron, oak, and maple trees. The climb is steady but not overly steep, offering opportunities to spot exotic birds and wildlife. After several hours of walking under a peaceful forest canopy, we reach Forest Camp, also known as Kokar, a secluded area offering basic yet comfortable lodges and serene surroundings.

Day 5:
Trek from Forest Camp to Low Camp (2,990m)
Today’s trail continues through beautiful cloud forests, gradually gaining elevation as we make our way to Low Camp. Along the way, glimpses of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) start to emerge through the trees, building excitement for what lies ahead. As we reach Low Camp, the views open up dramatically, with stunning sights of Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre directly in front of us. The chill in the air begins to set in as we gain altitude.

Day 6:
Trek from Low Camp to High Camp (3,580m)
We leave the tree line behind as the trail climbs steeply to High Camp. The terrain becomes alpine with dwarf rhododendrons and rocky ridges. As we ascend, panoramic views of the Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre dominate the horizon. High Camp offers a thrilling vantage point to prepare for tomorrow’s sunrise hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp. You’ll feel the altitude here, so it’s important to rest well and stay hydrated.

Day 7:
Trek from High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m) & Return
We start early to catch sunrise views as we ascend to Mardi Himal Base Camp. The trail climbs along narrow ridges and steep terrain, but the reward is unmatched: breathtaking views of Mardi Himal, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. After spending time at the base camp (or viewpoint depending on conditions), we return to High Camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 8:
Trek from High Camp to Siding Village (1,700m) via Low Camp
After breakfast, we retrace our steps to Low Camp and then take a different route downhill to Siding, a traditional Gurung village off the main trekking path. The trail is mostly downhill and passes through beautiful forests and terraced fields. Arriving in Siding offers a cultural glimpse into rural Nepali life. Tonight, you’ll enjoy a quieter, more authentic setting in a local lodge with warm hospitality.

Day 9:
Drive from Siding to Pokhara & Transfer to Hotel
After breakfast in the village, we board a jeep for the scenic drive back to Pokhara (3–4 hours). Once in Pokhara, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, enjoy a lakeside café, or even opt for a massage to soothe your muscles. Pokhara’s vibrant atmosphere and stunning natural beauty provide the perfect place to unwind after your trek.

Day 10:
Drive to Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel
Today we return to Kathmanduby a scenic drive. If time allows upon arrival, you can explore some of Kathmandu Valley’s rich cultural landmarks or do last-minute souvenir shopping. In the evening, simply relax at your hotel reflecting on the incredible journey through the Himalayas.

Day 11:
Final Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. We hope the memories of the Mardi Himal Trek and the warmth of the Nepali people stay with you long after your journey ends. Safe travels and we hope to welcome you again.
