From the bustling capital of Kathmandu, you fly to Nepalgunj and Jumla, then trek through traditional villages, lush valleys, and historical Sinja Valley. The highlight is Rara Lake, Nepal’s largest lake, offering pristine scenery and tranquil surroundings. The trek offers moderate to challenging terrain with a combination of trekking, sightseeing, and cultural experiences, making it ideal for adventurous travelers seeking off-the-beaten-path destinations.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)
Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. You can relax and prepare for the trek ahead. This day can be used for rest, last-minute shopping, or briefing about the trek. An orientation session will provide important details about the trekking route, weather, and safety measures. Enjoy a leisurely evening exploring the vibrant city or simply unwind at the hotel.

Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu (1400m) to Nepalgunj (150m) then Jumla (2540m)
Today involves an early flight to Nepalgunj followed by a connecting flight to Jumla. Upon arrival, you will meet your trekking team and prepare for the first day of trekking. Jumla is a highland town offering a glimpse into remote Nepali culture. You can explore the local markets, interact with locals, and enjoy panoramic views of surrounding hills and mountains. Preparations for the trek, including checking gear and acclimatization tips, will be conducted.

Day 3: Trek from Jumla (2540m) to Chere Chaur (3055m)
The trek starts from Jumla and gradually ascends through terraced fields and forested trails. You pass small villages where you can witness traditional lifestyles and local customs. The trail offers excellent views of the Himalayan ranges. Walking through peaceful landscapes with minimal tourist presence provides an authentic trekking experience. The day’s hike is moderately challenging due to the gradual ascent. Evening at the lodge allows for relaxation and enjoying local cuisine.

Day 4: Trek from Chere Chaur (3055m) to Chalachaur (2980m)

The day can be used for rest, souvenir shopping, or a short city walk.
