Itinerary

 

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,330m)

  Upon arrival a representative from Nona Getaways will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the luxurious Aloft Hotel (or similar). The afternoon is yours to rest or stroll the nearby streets of vibrant Thamel. Around 4:30–5:00 PM, attend a pre-trek briefing and receive your gear (kit bag, sleeping bag, and down jacket). In the evening, gather with your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Kimche, Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m)

Take an early scenic flight (25 mins) to Pokhara, with stunning views of the Himalayas. From there, a drive along the Modi River brings us to Kimche, the trek starting point. A short uphill walk (40 mins) leads to Ghandruk, a picturesque Gurung village known for its mountain views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Fishtail.

Day 3: Trek to Tadapani (2,650m)

Trek through enchanting rhododendron and oak forests, passing waterfalls and forest glades. Keep an eye out for langurs and birds along the way. Tadapani, nestled in the forest, offers peaceful surroundings and jaw-dropping views.

Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani (2,880m)

We hike through one of the largest rhododendron forests in Nepal. The trail is alive with birdsong, and occasional clearings offer glimpses of snowy peaks. Ghorepani is a charming ridge-top village with local shops, bakeries, and colorful tea houses.

Day 5: Poon Hill Sunrise (3,210m), Trek to Ulleri (2,070m)

Pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill for a glorious Himalayan sunrise over Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Machapuchare. After breakfast back in Ghorepani, descend through rhododendron forests and traditional villages to reach Ulleri, perched above the Bhurungdi River.

Day 6: Trek to Birethanti, Drive to Pokhara

Trek downhill through charming villages and lush farmlands. Reach Birethanti, where our vehicle awaits to drive us back to Pokhara. Check into a lakeside hotel and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of Phewa Lake.

 Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara

 Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7: Free Day in Pokhara

A full day to relax or explore. Choose from paragliding, cycling, boating, or visiting Devi’s Falls, Mahadev Cave, and the World Peace Pagoda. Or unwind in a lakeside café and soak in the atmosphere.

Day 8: Drive to Chitwan (5 hrs)

Head south to the lush lowlands of Chitwan National Park. After checking into our Adventure Lodge, enjoy lunch and a short orientation. Activities may include a sunset walk along the Rapti River or visiting a local Tharu village.

 Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 9: Jungle Safari in Chitwan

A day of wildlife exploration! Start with birdwatching or a jungle walk, followed by a jeep safari into Chitwan National Park. Look out for rhinos, deer, monkeys, crocodiles, and even the elusive Bengal tiger. End the day with a traditional Tharu cultural show.

Day 10: Return to Kathmandu (5–6 hrs)

Drive back to Kathmandu through river valleys and green hills. Check into your luxurious hotel and spend your final evening shopping, relaxing, or enjoying a celebratory dinner.

Day 11: Departure from Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey. If you’re extending your stay or joining another adventure, we’ll be happy to assist.
