Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. After customs, a representative from Nona Getaways will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, attend a trek briefing to go over the route and logistics. Enjoy a traditional Nepali welcome dinner with your guides and fellow trekkers.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (823m)

 

After breakfast, take a scenic drive in private vehicle (approx. 6–7 hrs) through green hills and river valleys to Pokhara. Upon arrival, check in to your lakeside hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening with views of the Annapurna range reflected in Phewa Lake.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Tatopani (1,190m)

Begin your journey with a 4–5 hour drive through Beni to Tatopani. This riverside town is known for its natural hot springs and lies deep in the Kali Gandaki gorge. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings before your trek begins.

Day 4: Drive to Humkhola and Trek to Sadhi Kharka (3,180m)

Start with an off-road jeep ride to Humkhola, the trailhead. From there, begin trekking uphill through pine and rhododendron forests to reach Sadhi Kharka. This yak pasture offers stunning views and is your first night of tented camping.

Day 5: Trek from Sadhi Kharka to Bhusket Mela (3,650m)

Ascend deeper into the wild Himalayas toward Bhusket Mela. The trail follows rugged terrain and enters remote alpine meadows. Expect fewer trekkers and stunning solitude as you set up camp.

Day 6: Acclimatization at Bhusket Mela

 

Take a rest day to acclimatize at Bhusket Mela. Short hikes around the camp help your body adjust to the altitude. The panoramic views of Annapurna and surrounding peaks make it a beautiful day to stay put.

Day 7: Trek to Annapurna I North Base Camp (4,190m) and Return

 

Trek early to the Annapurna I North Base Camp, crossing moraines and icy paths. Enjoy jaw-dropping views of Annapurna I and its glacier. After spending time at base camp, return to Bhusket Mela for the night.

Day 8: Trek from Bhusket Mela to Sadhi Kharka

 

Descend back to Sadhi Kharka, retracing your steps. Enjoy warmer air and verdant views along the way. Spend the night at the same scenic yak pasture.

Day 9: Trek to Humkhola and Drive to Tatopani

Complete the final leg of your trek with a descent to Humkhola. From here, drive back to Tatopani where a hot shower and possibly a soak in the thermal springs await.

Day 10: Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara

 

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Pokhara. Check into your lakeside hotel. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps shopping or dining by the lake.

Day 11: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

 

Depart Pokhara by private vehicle or tourist bus (6–7 hrs) to Kathmandu. Once in the capital, settle into your hotel and enjoy your last evening in Nepal.

Day 12: Final Departure

Your trek concludes today. We’ll transfer you to the airport for your international departure. Farewell and thank you for trekking to Annapurna I North Base Camp with Nona Getaways.
