Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Sikles (1,980m) & Explore

A bumpy but beautiful 4–5 hour drive takes you to Sikles, a traditional Gurung village nestled high in the Annapurna foothills. This off-the-beaten-path destination offers a peaceful cultural atmosphere. After arriving and settling in at your local lodge, explore the village’s traditional stone houses, interact with locals, and learn about Gurung customs, attire, and history. Enjoy a hearty meal and prepare for your trek starting tomorrow.

Day 4: Trek from Sikles to Hugu Goth (2,016m)

Begin your trek with a gradual climb through lush rhododendron and pine forests. The path winds along ridges and streams, with occasional views of snow-covered peaks. After a steady 4–5 hour walk, you’ll reach Hugu Goth, a peaceful yak pasture surrounded by alpine greenery. This tranquil setting offers an ideal escape from crowds. Settle into a basic tea house and enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner.

Day 5: Hike to Kapuche Lake (2,450m) and Return to Hugu Goth

Today’s highlight is the visit to the stunning Kapuche Lake, Nepal’s lowest glacial lake. The 2-hour ascent offers stunning views of cascading cliffs and icy ridges. At the lake, marvel at its turquoise waters cradled beneath glaciers and vertical rock walls. Spend time capturing photos and enjoying the serenity before returning to Hugu Goth along the same trail.

Day 6: Trek from Hugu Goth to Nohtha (3,000m)

Depart Hugu Goth and ascend steadily toward Nohtha, entering more alpine landscapes with fewer trees and open terrain.
