Itinerary

 

Day 1: Fly to Pokhara from kathmandu (823m)

Travel to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara via a short domestic flight from Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere by Phewa Lake. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a boat ride or explore the lakeside area. In the evening, attend a pre-trek briefing with your guide.

Day 2: Drive to Nayapul & Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m)

After breakfast, take a 1.5-hour drive to Nayapul, the trek’s starting point. Begin walking along riverside trails and terraced farmlands. After crossing a suspension bridge at Birethanti, ascend to the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk, known for its stone houses and stunning mountain views.

Day 3: Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m)

Descend through forest trails and cross Kimrong Khola before a steady ascent to Chhomrong. This beautifully located Gurung village offers panoramic views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South. It’s also the last major settlement en route to the sanctuary.

Day 4: Trek to Deurali (3,230m)

Begin the day descending stone steps to cross Chhomrong Khola. Ascend through bamboo and rhododendron forests, passing villages like Sinuwa and Bamboo. Continue past Dovan along the Modi Khola river gorge to reach Deurali, where the air gets cooler and alpine landscapes begin.

Day 5: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m)

Start early and hike to Machhapuchhre Base Camp, where Fishtail Peak dominates the skyline. Continue toward Annapurna Base Camp, located in the heart of the sanctuary and surrounded by snow-capped giants. After soaking in the views, descend to Deurali or Bamboo for the night.

Day 6: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,780m) & Drive to Pokhara

Retrace your steps down through the forested trail. Reach Jhinu Danda and unwind in the soothing natural hot springs near the Modi River. After lunch, board a private vehicle for the drive back to Pokhara. Celebrate your accomplishment with an evening by the lake.

Day 7: Return to Kathmandu and Final Departure 

After breakfast,  Fly  back to Kathmandu and final departure.
